SB 1111 -- LAW LIBRARY FUNDS

SPONSOR:  Klindt (Lager)

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee on
Judiciary by a vote of 15 to 0.

This bill provides that moneys from the law library fund may be
used by Grundy County for courtroom renovation and technology
enhancements.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds in FY 2005, FY 2006, and
FY 2007.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that the bill will allow Grundy
County to use law library funds for courtroom renovation
projects.

Testifying for the bill was Senator Klindt.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
